The State Of The Black Union

The killer, the drug dealer, the thug, the ignorant. Is this the only role that young black men are qualified to play? Maybe in Hollywood these are roles of integrity for brothers but in this movie titled (life) we are losing the big picture. I feel ashamed when I see young black men feeding all of the stereotypes that have plagued our race for years. It saddens me when I think of all of the things that we worship and how they have no real significance to the rest of the world. The love of materialistic things aide in our total annihilation and possible extinction. I had a recent encounter with a group of young men riding to work on the train. These teenagers where showing that they have no clue about how to properly conduct themselves in public. I seriously blame the parents in this situation. I believe that you confront the problem before it gets out of hand. There is a tremendous lack of discipline among today's parents. The adults do not practice good family values so they don’t have a clue about how to instill that in their children. The cycle continues because the majority have failed to understand the true meaning of being a respectful, successful, God fearing, individual. My heart goes out to my unborn child because he or she will grow up in a world where they will continue to experience the feeling of being a part of the struggling minority. The majority will consist of an innovative group of individuals who chose to overcome their obstacles and focus on what’s really important in life. The thing that is most important is that race, creed, nor color will no longer be an issue. Mind elevation will be the determining factor that separates the HAVE FROM THE HAVE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!
